‘Copyright’ is no longer fit for the digital age and often hinders rather than supports learning.
The UK is currently consulting on the recommendations set out by the Hargreaves Review on ways to make copyright more relevant, fitter for purpose, flexible, less complex and in general better able to support the UK economy in the global market place; many voices and many opinions.
Announcements are expected from the UK IP Office by 21st June 2012. We are waiting with baited breath and, given it’s Dickens’ 200th anniversary, great expectations
